The beginning of April is a time for fools and new starts. The Fool symbolises the start of new endeavours, and spring is well underway. This seems as good a time as any to begin your own magical work.

However, for such work you will need Tools and as if aligned by the very stars, we have a workshop devoted to just that.

Join David Spraggs, artist, wizard and Arch-Fool, for a making workshop where you will craft the Tools needed to realise new creative marvels. We will focus on the Disc, Sword, Cup and Ward: their construction, use, symbolic meaning and potential.

As we work, David will lead a discussion on the interplay between art and magic, conjure artistic examples, and ask what role these practices might play in contemporary art discourse.

Come one, come all, no previous experience needed (magical or otherwise). Join David for a friendly, creative and enchanting evening.
